Project 3_Humphrey

 

Week 1

Hello, 

I am trying to figure out an idea for my third project. I was thinking of doing how time and memory relates to death, but that maybe would be too tragic. I will strategize and create something that will get me an A.

Week 2

I have decided to show how time and memory affected me when my dog passed. I just got this news a few nights ago and she hadn't been doing well. It's a sad idea, but I definitely think that it will be effective with the time and memory prompt we were given. It is time to go capture new videos and pull old ones of my forever baby, Pebbles. 

Week 3 

I have captured numerous videos to compare to the memories I had with Pebbles. Some of these videos are included down below. I felt like it was necessary to insert a flashback to the day of the call to really pull the viewers in and make them feel how I felt in this moment. Here are a couple of videos and a screenshot of my process. 

Week 4

It is the final week to work on the video and I am having some sort of block. I have to incorporate a sense of direction in the video so viewers will know what it's about and where it's going. I believe that I am going to get it accomplished, but I must say that it is challenging. 

I am completely done with the video and it is an astonishing 3 minutes and 9 seconds. I will put the link below if anyone wants it, but this was dreadful creating this video. I didn't know that I would have these types of emotions coming out of the blue as I shot videos and pictures. I am glad that I am done and i really believe my dog is in a better place. Rest in heaven Pebbles and I love you so much!
