Black Sheep
This is by far my most favorite music video of all time. There are many different scenes that represent the lyrics as they are being sung. There is an original version of this song, but this version on "Scott Pilgrim v. The World" is the one that really expresses the lyrics. For those who don't know, this is a movie that came out in 2010, but it is way ahead of its time. For example, they have many different animations and effects in the movie to make it seem like a anime cartoon. Even in this music video, you get a glimpse of the wonderful animated transition from reality to anime. For example at timestamp 2:51, Scott is fighting with this type of glowing sword as if he is in this cartooned-anime series. The song itself expresses how Scott barely told truth throughout the entire movie. Scott cheated on his girlfriend (Knives) and never told his side girl (Ramona) the truth. Even the words Black Sheep are an analogy to Scott Pilgrim himself, meaning he is a disgrace to "everyone" for the things he did. I recommend watching the video and see how the producers combined shots from the movie in a 3 minute video. The link is down below. Please take a minute to view the video. Thanks!
