    Project 1: Not so Still Life                                                                                             Spencer Horton

            For my project, I took different videos of objects found around campus. To liven up the video, I went in and made various with the colorways in the videos I chose to include. I had some videos be bright and saturated with up tempo background music, while I had other clips be black and white with a heavy contrast and a more somber background song. The videos in black and white showcase more isolated objects and areas on campus, while the bright videos showcase liveliness.

            My concept for the video was to create a contrast between the different scenes to create a conflicting point of view in the viewer. Much of the videos used to create this project were all shot within the same area, so I wanted to show how the music and the color can influence the power of shots taken, and make you feel 2 different ways, despite being from the same spot.
