Project 1: Not So Still Life                                                                             

                Throughout the creation of this video project I have been studying different angles, and camera movements. I began by reviewing the characteristics of each shot size and reading through what creates a good composition opposed to a bad composition. When gathering my shots I had to retake quite a few of them and make corrections to make the compositions better. I also tried to change up the camera movement styles so the videos wouldn't become stale when put together. When editing, I used the transitions provided by Premier Pro to make the video move as smoothly as possible and to eliminate any choppy feelings caused from one shot to jumping to the next.

    My concept for the video is to show the audience things they might see in or around the Georgia Southern Arts Building. It is similar to a tour, though I am not showing the audience how to get from one place to another. In this video I explore classrooms, view student work that is showcased around the building, and explore the outside arts area courtyard. Hope you enjoy!
